Simple Totoro pattern

Hello!
I wasn't here for a long time, due to lot of schoolwork and... lack of ideas! :)

Today I bring to you a simple Totoro pattern. I was requested to create a amigurumi Totoro keyring for a friend of mine, but all the patterns I saw on the Internet were for a too big or too small softie.
So, here's the one I created - you should be able to make your own Totoro even if you've just began crocheting.

My Neighbor Totoro is a 1988 Japanese animated fantasy film written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki and produced by Studio Ghibli. The film follows the two young daughters of a professor and their interactions with friendly wood spirits in postwar rural Japan.(source: wikipedia.org)

Pattern:
use hooks and yarn of your choice.

We start with making the egg-shaped body, from head to bottom.
1. magic ring, 5 (5)
2. inc in each st (10)
3. sc in each st (10)
4. *sc, inc* around (15)
5. *2 sc, inc* (20)
6. sc in each st (20)
7. *sc, inc* around (30)
8. sc in each st (30)
9. *sc, inc* around (45)
10. - 13. sc in each st (45)
14. *4 sc, inc* around (48)
15. - 18. sc in each st around (48)
13. *4 sc, dec* (45)
14. sc in each st (45)
15. *sc, dec* around (30)
16. sc in each st (30)
17. *sc, dec* around (15)
18. decrease around to close.

Ears (make 2) :
with smaller hook.
1. ch 3, sc in 2nd  and 3rd sc from hook. (2)
2. ch 2, turn, sc in each (2)
3. ch 2, turn, inc in each st (4)
4. - 7. ch 2, turn, hdc in each st (4)
Bend it in half (vertically), so it'll shape an ear :)
Sew it to the body.

Tail:
with same hook as used for ears.
1. ch 3, sc in 2nd  and 3rd sc from hook. (2)
2. ch 2, turn, sc in each (2)
3. ch 2, turn, inc in each st (4)
4. - 8. ch 2, turn, hdc in each st (4)
sew to the bottom of the body.

sew (or glue) eyes, mouth and belly, created from felt or other white (or any color you like your Totoro to be) material.
Remember to make the "^ ^ ^"s on his belly :)
